Any advice on what to check when I pick up my new RX tomorrow? Looking for visible scratches, mileage seems to be the obvious items. Should I do a test-drive also?

 

If it's a new car, just look everything over. Oh, and make sure all options are installed, etc. You have more slack when you drive it off b/c you have your invoice so anything missing, just come back. For the business part, you might want to read what Consumer Reports says.

I always check for dings on all body panels and for scuff marks on the wheels. Once you drive it off the lot and notice something, the dealer probably won't pick up the repair tab! And make sure your numbers are correct!!

A test drive would be good. Take a look at the underside, too. Will give you an idea where it has been (if it is a used car). Good luck. Do not forget to open up the hood.

There is no such a thing pickup truck any Lexus models! Hate people saying pickup trucks. Just saying SUVs.

Darn it! I thought this was about a Lexus Pickup and being from Texas I was getting all excited and ready to buy some cow horns to mount on the hood , now I will just dream about the day that Lexus makes a pickup or convert my RX-350 into an El Camino

 

The nickname for my RX300 is Toro Negro or Black Bull, and I gave though to putting some horns on it.
