Well, a while back, I had trouble with my CD player. It wouldn't play a certain CD, resulting in "Error 4" flashing on the display. I switched CDs and things worked well--for a while. Then I began to get "Error 4" on random discs. Finally, a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't play any CD, no matter the slot position, AND I couldn't eject any of the six CDs!
Evidently, this is a known problem because my service advisor said that they would order a replacement stereo. He also mentioned that to get my CDs out, they would have to send the old stereo back to the factory, where they will extract the discs and send them back to the dealer to give to me.
The stereo has arrived and I am going into the service center on Friday for this warranty replacement.

Early on when the RX330 first came out, I remember IS300 owners mentioning how crappy the in dash 6-Disk changer was and some of them had theirs replaced a few times for similar reasons as you describe. I know of only a few RX changer stories, but fortunately mine never had a problem. Although, mine was in my closet for more than half its life since I had an aftermarket A/V system.
