I made a good deal with autobody shop when my bumper need to replaced.
I asked them to get painted my spoiler too with discount for about $150, that includes removing and re-installation of the spoiler.

I just received my double din dash from Todd last week, I haven't had a chance to install
the sound system yet but in the meantime this is what I've done so far

painted spoiler

Nigel's led side blinker with puddle lamp

Different view

Puddle lamp close up

The cover is installed but still need to run the wires to make the blinker and puddle lamp work the way they
suppose to be. I have a hook up at Lexus dealership that one of the senior tech is willing to do the wiring
for me. I will talk $$$ with him later this week.

Total cost to paint spoiler + install side mirror cover $200 at friend's body shop

i am just curious
there is really not much people modding their RX, right?
i found it much harder to find some parts for our RX than the other lexus models
even if i found them, i got scared at the price..... $1800 for TRD sportivo suspension set without installation fee.....
ex. suspension set, body kits

Yes you are right, now a lot of people mod their RX. You don't have to get the $1800 suspension kit, Eibach make something a lot cheaper ( just springs )
for around $400 range, body kit and exhaust are optional. It's just how deep is your pocket.

^^ +1 Eibach springs are less than $400 and a 1.2" drop. There are quite a bit of body kits. The only exhaust system that I'm aware of is the aPexi one.

Of course, Airunner has a setup for the RX. Let me know if you're interested :thumbup

Todd
Is the Airunner street legal application ? This works for the 400h too ? I'm looking for a twin square tip exhaust, do you have any recommendation ?

I'm happy there aren't replica lip kits out there. I don't see many people at all modding RX. Its not their style to have style. The most common thing I've seen done to an RX are 22 or 24in wheels including the DUB emblem with the "22" or "24" emblem on the fenders. I also see chrome accent everywhere(on the headlights/taillights, etc). That is definitely not my style.

Wow, I hate the ebay cheap chrome, cheapens the whole car for no reason as for 22 or 24s, it's too big for my taste, 18's are good enough, maybe a tad lower with the Eibach or air runner if the price is right.

I plan on lowering mine, it will be one of the only cars I have had without an exhaust because its a hybrid. Where do I get the wide arm rest? I need one badly!
