Post DIY Manual for RX330?

I was wondering if there is a manual that I could buy online or something that would have information on the whole car, the same way Hayes has a manual.

If anyone knows of this please do let me know.

I have a 1990 Camry and I have the Hayes manual for it, I love that manual. Great instructions and pictures are always helpful also.

Thanks in advance....

Try Hanes Manual for Highlander/RX330. Sells for $20 at Advance Auto Parts or Amazon.com.

i paid $10 for one day subscription to TIS and spend several hours downloading the whole repair manual from there. it was time consuming but was well worth it.

Can you give us more details on this? Thanks. How much time did you spend and how much did you download, MB or GB?

The Haynes Manual is a blended manual, helpful, but would rather have the actual RX330 Lexus Manual that gives you exact details.

i don't know the exact size of all the files yet, because some files are on my desktop and some are on my laptop. i will put them together later and see. i think it took me about 3 hours with cable internet. i had to open each page one by one and save them one by one.

You all may know this already, but just in case some one looks at this thread in future ...

Lexus does publish workshop manuals.

Other than the electrical wiring, there are two manuals [for RX300, 330 should be similar]. Volume one covers mostly electronic diagnosis and volume 2 has all engine, transmission and body details. All necessary torques and procedures are listed and drawings are very detailed.

The manuals can be purchased from Lexus parts and the price is roughly $100+ each.

Reviving the thread...

Found this online manual for an '06 RX330:

http://www.links-popularity.com/serv...6&cat=0&page=1

Page count 2000+ $20 Sounds good, it seems that it is the official Lexus published one... I am not sure if 2006 manual would serve exactly as well as for my 2004 rx330.

Does anyone know of an online seller for the 2004 RX330?

SKU SKU326
size 133 MB
format ZIP/PDF
language ENGLISH
pages 2000+
compatible MAC/WIN
Price: $19.99

Well, for my accord I bought a CD online (ebay) for a similar price with loads of info on repair/maintenance. Size (zipped) is comparable to the page count, looks ok to me.

I am not thinking of buying it yet, still looking for a 2004 manual, I'm picky in the case that there are differences between the model years...

There are copyrights law, but then some folks choose to scan and then sell.

Toyota/Lexus has all the manuals now on line. You pay for the service (24 hr access and more). I faintly recall it is $10 for a day. If you have a fast connection and the patience you can down load the whole manual. This may be the cheapest and most legit way.

Actual manuals also come up on ebay from time to time.

If you dig the forum you may find a link to a site with the pdf manual. I bought my manual from Lexus dealership and to me the manual is an excellent resource.

Thanks for the reply Salim.

I am in the process right now of downloading the pdfs from Technifo site. It is a real pain. I also realize that as I categorize the stuff by folders with "001", "002" filenames, I will have to open every one of them up later on to check for info. For the value, it may still be a drag

What I see the big concern to be is that you can not search for info, you have to dig through the 30+ files in the folders...

I would rather invest another $10-20 and buy an online manual or CD with the manual intact in one or a few pdf files...

So far ebay has nothing like that and searching online led to the '06 manual.
I will keep looking...
