Oh yes, they will....how much are they for the set? Love that simple, elegant, but mean look.

Actually, one of our fine vendors here on Club Lexus, D2-Autosport has special pricing on wheel and tire packages for MRR's.

For a set of 19"s with tires they start at $1799. If you ask me, I say that's one helluva deal

Here's a link if you would like more info

I asked D2 Autosport about the HR2 a while ago in regard to fitment specs and this is what he said

I think they'll rub, but you could try it.

When I first started looking I had a couple of great email exchanges with Derrick @ D2. Great guy and a wealth of information. My last two sets of aftermarket wheels came from forum site sponsors and I always look there first.

The HR2 is a sweet wheel, but from a styling perspective I can't get past that script on the one spoke. Also, as mentioned, I don't think the fitment would work.

I'm definitely looking at an 8" width and ideally no higher than a +30mm offset. My best guess is that a +25mm offset would be optimal. My only other wish list items are a fairly conservative spoke/center style, a dedicated bolt circle (i.e. no "universal" or "combo" patterns), and a painted finish, ideally silver or hyper silver.

Actually,

"The offset of a wheel is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel."

The lower the offset, the more the wheel is spaced out from the hub. Meaning, it is pushed outwards, closer to the fender, resulting in a more agressive fitment.

The higher the offset, it's just the opposite, resulting in a more conservative fitment.

....here's another recommendation on some wheels...how about these...

They're OZ Canyon ST's in bright silver

I know it still has some script on the side but I thin it looks awesome nonetheless!

One of the cool features that tirerack.com has, is that they let you view the wheels on your vehicle.

Here is what they would look like on an RX

I only see a fitment on 20"s though. if you're intrested in these wheels, you might want to contact tirerack.com to see if they offer these in 19"s as well.

I was at the Lexus dealership and I overheard somebody paying $1,999.00 for a set of Chromed OEM 5 Spoke 18's. This is with a swap, too. Boy that is a rip off.

Seize, thanks. I'm actually pretty well-versed in wheel specs. In rereading my last post I guess I could've been more specific. I used "higher" strictly in the numerical sense. I actually do want any wheels I purchase to be pushed out a little more. Especially with a drop. Not too aggressive, but just enough to prevent rub within the inner wheel well & suspension components, and to look a little more stout than OEM. I spent significant time at Tire Rack's site, along with many others, before initiating this thread. If there are more wheels out there - in 19x8 and within the offset range I'm after - I'd certainly be grateful for input.

Mandyfig - right up there with 'Don't start a land war in Asia' and 'leave your Bad Idea jeans at home when vacationing in Haiti', I think 'DO NOT buy wheels at your dealership' is an important life lesson. Most dealers love their margins on these things, especially whenever the word "chrome" is included in the mix. The last time I was at my dealership they had a really sweet LS on the showroom floor. It was riding a very nice set of 20's, for which the dealer was asking....ahem, $12,500. Hoo-ahh!

Have you looked at 1010tires.com ? They're a reputable site and has lots of wheels (for the RX) to choose from.

What about the WORK LS 305? (available in silver and chrome)

It's looks similar to the MRR HR2 but no text on the side

They have 19" fitments in offsets ranging from +47 - +35.

Here's a link to WORK's pdf. file on the LS 305's (has the specs and all that other good stuff)

I agree, thanks again, Seize! That is a classy looking wheel. I'm a bit iffy on the offset, but what's 5mm among friends? Definitely added to the list...

I did look at 1010tires, among others...do a google search on 'wheels' and I think I've been there. 1010 offers some possibilities, but only by manually roaming around. Their search engine lists no '07 Lexus models, only a 400h for '06 (in RX...not that this really matters) and nothing in 19's.

I forgot to mention that you have to select 2005 to get the RX330. I don't know why they don't have wheels for the 07/08 Rx350 but since they're the same as the 330, you won't have anything to worry about.

Asianrage, thanks for the inspiration to revisit 1010. Some possibilities there, even though all three are outside of the offset range I'm after...

ADR M-Sport, 19x8, +35mm

Falken Torque 5, 19x8 +38mm

Stern ST7 (but in silver, not chrome), 19x8.5 +32mm (not sure I want to go that wide)
