Default RX330 Grille

I have seen a bunch of chromed out grille and I know how they do it. Our current grilles are all chrome and painted. They strip the paint and sell the chromed out grille.....I do not know if they look good though. I still like the TC Grille.

A few years back we had some RX300 owners woud sand down the grills to get it chromed...haven't seen that done in a while, but it was a very interesting modification.

ebay: search for grille....rx330...a bunch of them are sold "chromed out." I think they just strip the paint. Revealing the chrome.

This may be a future modification I may make on my RX300. Haven't decided as with having a black exterior, don't want too much shine (that's just me personally).

I just checked my Rx grille, you can see that it was painted after being chromed. Knowing the actual chroming process (I have seen and have been into a plastic chroming plant , I understand how it will be difficult to have a selective chrome process. Alsi, the reason why they chrome it is for sturdiness. The grille will take abuse, if protected with a layer of chrome, it will not dent easily. Makes sense.
