After browsing through these great forum, it appears that different versions of DVD data have different override possibilities. In particular, is it true that the latest upgrade disk for Gen 2/3 Navigation (06.1) disables the ability to override? And if so, would it be wiser to stay with 05.1 version in my '04 RX330?

I don't believe the override feature is disabled. I would bet that the method to get to that screen has been changed.

Hi, all! I just got my '08 RX 350 and am new to the world of Lexus. So far, I am loving it and can't see myself going back to Mercedes anytime soon.

Anyways, I was trying to do the override and wasn't successful. My search led me to this thread. Do I need the old DVD 05.1, or has someone learned the new method (if any) to get to the override screen for the new models?
