seems weird that they dopnt at least offer an dealer installed accessory

 

The 07's have them....so, it is now available....you have to pay thru the nose.

 

I have a coin holder in my 08 console box between two front seats with three slots.
But, there is no information in the manual. Not sure whether it comes with all 08. I have the NAV+Mark Levinson+Rear Entertainment

 

Started to be installed on the 07's I think.

 

Any fellow Canadian's receive a coin holder in their 08?

I didn't and it's ultra-premium (NAV+ML+RE).

I suspect maybe it's as we have loonies and twonies we'd need two extra coin slots?

 

When you go price up an RX350 08 model, it lists the coin holder as one of the features.....yeah, right.....why only 08's?

 

I don't believe we got the coin holder in our '08. Can those of you who have one describe for us Canucks what this looks like, maybe post a picture?

I've resorted to putting them in the door handle well. At least there is felt on the bottom preventing them from rattling too much.

 

Then your coin holder was swiped.....check your standard list...it shows up there. Ask the dealer to give you one. Nothing to lose.

 

I wonder how many get swiped from loaner vehicles? I'll bet the dealers take them out of the loaners for that reason, and forget to put them back when they are sold.

The coin holders are like the cup holder inserts for the 07 RAV4s. All the 06 owners complain about not having the inserts, so the dealer just take them out of the 07 and give it to the 06 owners.

 

Anybody take a pic of this, so we know what they look like?
