I'll be looking to upgrade my stock system which is a non ml . Looking to spend no more than a $1000 , what would you recommend and why ?

 

all depends on what you are looking for. me personally im running two 12 inch RF P3's powered by a RF power amp. two 1 farad caps, sealed enclosure. basic and lots of bass.

 

i run a RF360.2 with JL ZR 6.5's in all doors and 2 13w6v2 subs all off an original phoenix gold MS1000

sounds incredible

 

How much did it cost you ?

 

i have about 7k invested but the amp alone was 2k since there were only 50 made, it puts out 550 watts X4 at .007THD, 2 channels run 2 sets of 6.5's and 2 channels run the subs, it is matched perfect and there is a tremendous amount of headroom

its all about dynamics when it comes to car audio
