Does anyone else have this problem? Both of my side mirrors are kinda of loose. If I push the entire mirror in and out...there is some amount of play.

I've tried to tighten the screw on the bottom of the mirrors....but it requires some special tool.

 

I had exact same problem with my mirror.
I went to the dealer to tighten up the mirror, but the dealer told me that they could not tighten up the mirror.... they ended up replacing my entire mirror assembly.

I was thinking of heading to the dealership. The problem is....I have the clear bra installed on both side mirrors. You think the dealer will replaced both side mirrors and put the clear bra on it?

 

Probably not, unless they installed them originally.

 

IMHO, I don't think they'll replace clear bra on your mirrors.
I would still talk to the service manager and go from there... good luck!

 

Sweet talk them. Keep in mind, they look at you as if there's a $ sign in forehead. Still, good negotiation is a good tool.

Brought my car in to the dealer today. They said they will special order a set of the side mirrors and replaced it under warranty. They will also put on the clear-bra as well. Wohoo!!!!!!!! Now, that's what I called customer service!

The dealer special order the part and will have the guy installed the clear bra on it. They will then call me when is ready to be installed! Hopefully by next week.

 

Great! I wonder how many of them are stocked with the color...or is it special order...I am pretty sure they inventory a certain amount of color...perhaps the Silver one is the most popular color.

 

It's special order. I have the bamboo pearl.

 

Would have been nnice if you can actually upgrade to the ones with the signal lights....!!!
