No, sorry, Dave. I don't have any experience with the newer head units. I'd be curious to see if there were any differences in the wiring harness on the 07. I would think that if the harnesses were the same that they should perform the same functions.

Vaistech looks like they have different models #s for 07 and 08 350. Seems like Lexus must have made changes in 07 and up head units.

 

I just bought an '04 RX330 with navigation. I'm very interested in the Vaistech unit because I can't live without my Sirius Satellite radio. Does anyone know why they say the unit only works in RX330 models '05 and up? Could Lexus have made a change to the radio between '04 and '05? Thanks!

I did, but all they could tell me was that I needed to mae sure my radio was satellite ready and if it was then it would work. So how do I know if it's satellite ready? The question of the hour......

 

'08 Radio is the same as '07, and all of our units are fully compatible with both Radios. And Radio doesn't have to be SAT ready in order to be compatible with SoundLinQ.

 

is there a reason why it cant read past 99 in the playlist? i thought you guys had fixed that bug?

 

If I install this Vaistech, can I still pick the IPOD up and program it from the spin wheel?

 

It's not a bug, it's a limitation of the Radio.

 

There are two modes available with SLI, one when you control everything through the Radio, and another, called SIMPLE mode, when you control everything through the iPod.

Easy switch between one and another is pressing SCAN 8 times on the Radio.
