07 RX350 11k Report
I have one of the first RX350s (AWD, white, tan leather, nav, loaded) and want to report how it has held up thus far. With just over 11,000 miles (two South Florida to Dallas trips), the RX350 is rock solid and problem free with one small exception.
In the cold of North Texas, there was a dash rattle that the dealer identified as "windshield tabs" that they trimmed and since then, no more rattle. Aside from that minor issue, the RX350 has proved to be a reliable daily driver / family car that has required only oil changes.
Hope this info helps others who may be considering the RX350.
Now, only if Lexus came out with a "drop top" IS model, then I won't have to buy the next generation M3 convertible.

I just passed 12,500 in my 2007 RX350 AWD. I've only had a few minor quality issues - my drivers seat still creaks even though it's been repaired. This is my first Lexus, it replaced a 4 month old Infiniti FX that was just awful (drivers seat repaired once, replaced once, lots of rattles from plastics inside, laser cruise control faulty even after 4 repairs). I like the Lexus overall, but disappointed with the maintenance cost ($227 for an oil change service every 5k). It works well for my daily driving, hauls everything I need from mountain bikes to large packages. I do wish it had more power - I liked the Lexus quality/reliability reports and selected it over other vehicles. I am very happy though with how affordable the RX350 was to purchase - you really do get a lot for your money. I would have gladly paid $15k more for a performance version (hint hint Lexus). When the time comes later this year or next year for my next new vehicle I'm not 100% sure I will stay with Lexus - really like the idea of service being included like it was on my BMWs, just drop the car off and everything was taken care of, I just replaced the tires each year myself.

Wow, $227 for an oil change.... Not in my worst nightmares. Our Lexus dealer does it for $59.95, with wash, vac, and hand dry, even adds tire dressing (wife also gets really good chocolates). I would suggest that maybe you might take a close look at another Lexus dealer, or call your local Toyota dealer for your next oil change.
FWIW, my dealer sends coupons for $37.95 oil service. It does say "SUVs extra" but I would be surprised if it wound up being more than $45, or $60 for synthetic. $227 is highway robbery, and would cause me to never return to that dealer. Especially since I can do it in 20 minutes at home for $35 with full synthetic.
