Exclamation Tire Pressure light

My tire pressure light is on all the time. It is about 29 to 63 degress here and the weather changes all the time sometimes to the 70 and when it warms up the light goes out. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know how to get the light to go off in the cold weather? Love the Car Got it for mothers day.

Put some more air in your tires. Pump those puppies up to about 40.

Wait a day or so and the light should go out.

I see by your profile that you got an '07. The newer model RXs use a different system for tire pressure monitoring than say the older '04 RX330. Your tire pressures could just be on the borderline, you could have a bad sensor, or the system may just need to be recalibrated for your area and not the factory setting.

There have been previous threads on the topic of tire pressure. For example:

Take the car to the dealer, tell them what it is doing, and they should be happy to quickly check your tires and sensors for you. Or better yet, give the dealer a call and see if they will dispatch someone out to your house for a look.

Worked for me too (07), light got all weird on good tires
Pumped all 4 to about 38 and never saw it come back again

Plus I like how it handles with more air (a bit less roll in turns)
