L-Tuned, TTE, TRD Springs?
I am looking to improve the handling of the RX 350. I am looking for the a good balance of handling and comfort. I am also looking for approx 1" of drop in ride heigt for better performance and looks.
I have been researching extensively on what springs to get. I am thinking of getting just springs because I dont want a drastic change. I have heard L-Tuned parts are nice because they are made by Toyota for Lexus and dont void any warranty.
I went to L-TunedParts.com and under suspension, they have TTE(Team Toyota Europe) Springs for the RX.
Now here is my question. What exacly is the difference between L-Tune and TTE? Are TTE components accepted by Lexus so that the warranty is not voided? I have also heard of some people using TRD suspension for their RX. I'm not even sure how to research TRD as they are for Toyota vehicles and not Lexus. I assume I can look under either the Highlander or Harrier? What spring should I get?

I don't know if you saw this, but I posted this link a while back. Cool pictures but I wish I knew more about the products or how to get them.

I did this mod, and the results are great. Much less body roll, and little change in ride. I combined the springs with lower section tires (245/45-18).
Handling is great. The body is lower by 1.2", but it it hard to tell. No downsides so far.
Spring replacement requires removing the struts on all wheels, so labor cost is significant. It is a bolt-in, however. New springs have larger diameter wire, and rear springs are progressive rate.
I highly recommend this mod. This should be offered from the factory.
To see the difference, drive 30 mph and jerk the steering wheel left and right rapidly, simulating an emergency lane change (do this on a deserted street).
Note the extreme body roll.
After the new springs are in, do the same thing and relish the difference.
Much more stable and much less roll. At 70mph, you can appreciate the safety factor.

Thanks a lot for all this info. I really want to get the TTE springs but it seems like there is nearly a 3 month wait on this! I am wondering if I should just go with one of the springs in Tire Rack like Eibach or H&R. I really do want the TTE though but don't know if there is much of a difference compared to Eibach or H&R. Please let me know if you have any more info on how to get these quicker.

Sewell Lexus in Dallas may have the TTE springs in stock.
I think their price is higher than L-tuned parts, however.
L-tuned quoted me 3 months also, but the springs came in about 6 weeks.
If you go with the TTE springs, make sure you get the correct ones.
TTE PN is 18084 and fits the RX 330 and 350.
