Default Front Grille 2005 RX330

My front grille black gasket seal is coming off. Does anyone have this problem too?

I'm bringing my car to the dealer for the floor retaining clips recall and also I want them to check the grille seal.

Just wondering if the dealer will replaced the entire grille.

Default Grill Seal

Had the same problem with my 05 Thundercloud. Took to dealer, they wouldn’t fix it, instead they ordered and installed complete new grill (twice - Thundercloud has a different grill and they “didn’t notice” the first time).

Orzel,

Thanks! I'm going to bring it in and see what they say. I don't have the Thundercloud model. I'm sure this is a known issue.....hard to believe only the two of us have this problem. Anyone else?

I had the same problem with the grille gasket peeling away. The dealer replaced the radiator protector, thats the technical term for it.
They replaced it under warranty and it was a SOP, special order part.

Default Grill

Radiator protector - ya gotta be kidding the thing is plastic... One good whack with anything substantial and that radiator is going to be toast! I guess I'm from the old school, always going to be a 'Grill' to me.

I brought my car to the dealer this morning and they said that they have to special order the "Grille Sub-Assy". I'll have to bring it again next week to have it changed....I'll keep you guys posted! Hopefully, they give me a new grille!
