Question Lexus RX - Best selling Lexus model

Anyone has an idea how many RXs that the dealers sold each month, quarter or yearly? My salesman sold 4 RXs the week before I received my RX350. It is like more than 50% of the Lexus customers are interested in the RX and the GS second. Did they (Toyota/Lexus) build their 1st millionth RX (RX300, 330, 350 and 400h) yet?

Though it does not break down how many Lexus vehicles were sold per dealer.

Not sure how many total RX's were sold since introduction, but I am sure not a million yet. Probably getting close though.

Actually, Lexus reached its one-millionth milestone (built for the U.S. market) back in 12/99. The one-millionth Lexus, a millennium silver RX300 was sold (donated) to the Peterson Automotive Museum in LA.

I would think it will take 10 years to reach the one-millionth milestone for the RX since its debut in 1998. What would you like on your one-millionth RX? RX450 maybe?

The RX300 I believe did hit the mark of best selling SUV in the U.S at some points.

While shopping last week, The salesman at my dealership told me they sold 150 RX's last month during the Golden Opportunity Event. He may have been "blowin' smoke" and they ARE the only dealership in the area, but that's an average of 5 a day! He also told me they average 100 a month. Maybe that's not as unbelieveable as it sounds....?

I think there are about 5 RXs within the 15 houses closest to mine. I had to get the bamboo pearl just to recognize my own vehicle coming down the street!
