Smile Lexus Accessories - Where do you buy them?

Hi guys,

Where do you buy the accessories (i.e. all-weather mats, cargo tray, mudguards) for your RX or your Lexus vehicle? Do you buy them at the dealer or online (like eBay or some other Lexus dealers)?

You can get them from your local dealer, of course, or an on-line dealer like

http://www.lexus-parts.com/

or from

http://www.irontoad.com/

Some general auto parts places sell accessories of the type you mention for the Lexus cars, but they are not made by Lexus, just designed to fit your particular model, such as

http://www.autoanything.com/

Finally, remember that Google can be your friend.

I just bought my RX, so I haven't even washed it yet. You should probably start a new thread on this topic.

Seems lexus-parts.com is reasonalbe and Sewell Lexus is my dealer anyway. I think I'll be going with them for parts and accessories.

I have WeatherTech mats on my other SUV and All-Weather mats on my Toyota (gonna trade it for RX350). Here is my opinion:

WeatherTech - Thicker & heavier, custom fit for the front set, universal like for the rear set.
All-Weather - Thinner, best to remove excess snow or mud prior entering the car, custom fit for front & rear

I found some great deals on Lexus OEM All-Weather mats for RX (front and rear sets) and cargo tray on eBay for like $180 plus shipping.

I have had WeatherTek mats in the past (on my Toyota, which I traded in for the RX) and they are very thick, although I had to trim them to fit.

I found a deal somewhere for the Lexus rubber mats for the RX, and they are just as heavy and well made, fit perfectly, and sport a little Lexus Logo in the corner. They look a little different, but they are the functional equivilant, although usually I would think they cost a little more, of course.

I would recommend either of these options for winter/snow/mud conditions.

I used Ebay to get the all-weather mats, I got the OEM Lexus one's with the Lexus emblem on them.

You can wash rims with any wheel cleaner, make sure you match it to your rim's material, ie polished or chrome. I just use diluted simple green and a cotton terry towel and wipe away.

Weather Tech has "Floorliners" to fit the RX perfectly and they fully protect. They are the best I've seen. Also have the Cargo Liner in the rear area.
