Default Sirius Installation impossible?

Hey there!

I just recently bought a used RX330 and I love it only problem is, is that she doesnt have Sirius installed . In my previous car, toyota celica, I had to install a kenwood head unit to get sirius and I dont want to do the same thing on such a nice vehicle such as this. My RX330 is a 2004 and when I emailed Darrell at lexus-parts.com all he had to say was:

"At this time, Sirius/Lexus has yet to release a kit for the RX model.

Thank you for the opportunity to assist."

I simply replied that I had seen and heard people do it so there must be something going on between sirius and lexus.

Basically what I need to know is where I could possibly go or what other routes should I take to get sirius in my car? I'm a college student, always driving to & from school and from work as well. I commute every day and its a little annoying when you're trying to relax and all you hear for the first 1/2 of your drive are commercials. Can anyone help? or does anyone have suggestions? Anything is appreciated at this point!

VAIS Tech is coming out with a Sirius module. I'm beta testing it with my '07 RX350 and it is working very well. It enables you to buy one of the Sirius Connect receivers and hook it up directly to your radio and Nav system and control everything as if it was a factory installation. I've posted some pictures on the VAIS Tech SLS fourm (Go Here to Chech them out).

Installation is simple especially with the instructions for getting into the console that Lexuslover posted here in the RX forum. I'm not sure when they are releasing the product but I wouldn't think it would be too long since the unit works well and the packaging looks pretty much final.
