I just got back from a 2000 mi trip from Tucson to Dallas and back. Drove either 75 or 80 mph most of the time. Average mpg for interstate highway driving was 23.9 mpg, calculated manually. The trip computer always gave higher than the manually calculated mileage. I am disappointed in the mileage; my 2004 Sienna did a lot better. On the other hand, my only tank so far for all city driving got 21.0 mpg. I'm happy with that. My RX350 is fwd.

Reason: addition
At 75-85, i'm surprised you had such good mileage. (increased drag etc) My best mileage (2004 330 awd) has been highway trips in the 55-65 range. about 26mpg with a/c off and 23 with it on.
The computer always shows 1mpg higher than reality, when I have done it manually.
my RX 350 has less than 500 miles on it, but i have already filled one full tank already. based on that I calculated it to be around 20mpg per gallon. Does it seem right? would it go up or down?
I have about 3600 miles on my RX 350 and I have been keeping track pretty closely on mileage. About 2/3 of total is highway....I am getting just under 24 mpg.

AWD or FWD? What Island are you on? 20 MPG seems a little low too me. Like I mentioned, I used to get a very consistent 22 MPG with a mix of city/highway. My wife would spend time in morning traffic from Kapolei to town and also back home and we still averaged that MPG. The RX350 supposed to be a little more fuel efficient even with the larger more powerful engine. That E10 gas we just got though has really killed the MPG. It dropped both my cars down about 1-2 MPG.
