Has anyone put a cargo carrier on their RX with spoiler? I have heard the the rear door and spoiler will hit the carrier if you get the wrong one. An online retailer told me the Thule 1600 Atlantis or Evolution works well, has 16 cu feet of storage, and has clearance for the spoiler.

I am going to Yellowstone this summer and need the extra storage. Does anyone have experience with these? Thanks.

 

i haven't had a cargo carrier but i have had long skis and snowboards that were just as long as many carriers. you have to move the crossbars to the first notch to make sure the carrier is far enough forward to avoid the spoiler.
