hooking up a amp for subs

has any one done this and how with the factory head unit. Also can any one tell me ware the factory amp is in a 99 rx300. Or does some one have the wiring diagrams for the stereo

think i found it

well by friday afternoon i will be able to answer any ? about the ? i posted i finaly found the wiring sheet i neaded

it dont work

tying in to the signal from the headunit does not work the volume is controled in the amp still need help

well i used a audiocontrol lc6 works great i have the wiring diagram if any one needs it

lol ur going about it the wrong way. there is rca converters u can buy. all u have to do is hack the speaker harness

id dont like the sound quality from a cheep hi low converter. the lc6 works the same way but converts the factory amp out put to digital and cleans up the sound.
