Well I have just been out to my RX400H and it definitely does show the camera picture when I start moving the car, backwards or forwards slowly.
You have to press camera check to switch it on.
But I am in the UK so it may be different for USA

 

But I still need to figure out how to get a UK TV picture on it!!

 

Well thanks for checkking, looks like I will have to drive over to the UK if I want my camera to work in the forward mode

Worked the first time on my 2007 RX 350! Now all I need is a Nav system which works.

i think there's a help section for your address book on the lexus website. someone told me that if you cut the VSS wire in the NAV unit that should enable you to always enter when you're moving or not.
