Default Rx330 Non Mark Levinson Amp Location

Does anyone know is there an external Amp for the non mark levinson stereo and where is the amp for a 2004 rx330 (non ml) is located? Someone claims that there is a small amp located somewhere below the rear right seat, is it true?? I spoke to a audio shop that they told me you cant replace the factory amp cause there is data info. link to the head unit. Any advise???

I have the mark Levinson and the amp is behind the rear back seat under the carpeting. I am not sure about the non ML amp but you would be able to find info on it on toyotas tech site. Just google TIS Toyota and it will come up. The subscription is 15 bucks for only tow days so I would try to use the site for everything you can. It will have wiring diagrams, parts locations, tech and service bulletins, recalls, and everything else related to any Toyota Scion or Lexus.

It' under the plastic thing that holds your jack. Pull it up and look under the brace running behind your seat
