Yup, I thought I was going to buy an RX330, until I test drove a BMW 530xiT wagon, then tried to drive the RX330 hard around corners....alas, the Bimmer is at least $15K more.

LEXUS, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO OFFER A WAGON??

Ultimate Driving Machine is not just a slogan; it really is the driving experience if you love to drive and toss your car around. Very fitting.

I had an X3 3.0 as a loaner myself. I was pretty amazed how well thing thing handled. Other than that though, I very much prefer the smooth ride of our 400h. The X3 was bouncing like a wild pig on uneven pavements, while the 400h just glides over it like nothing.

If you love driving and must only have one car, I suppose the X3 is a good compromise if you don't mind the looks or the boring interior. I LOVE driving, that's why I rotate between my 03 M5 and the 400h, good to have best of both worlds

BTW, check out www.bmw.com They changed from Ultimate Driving Machine to *Sheer Driving Pleasure* What were they thinking??? The USA site bmwusa.com remains UDM good thing.
