Has anyone had any experience with removing the center console trim & NAV in an 05' RX330? I recently purchased purchased an AVIC-100i but will need to get behind my nav unit to install it behind. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

I don't know how. You may be able to find the Chilton Reference at your local library. It has some breakout drawings of the center console. Good luck.

Getting the manual is the best bet. But, until then I can help out only partially as we don't get navigation in our state. Anyway, you probably have to remove the radio. To do that is quite easy as I have removed mine a few times just to see what was behind it. Pop the wood trim around the shifter. It just snaps in. Pop the wood trim that holds the ciggerate lighter. It too just snaps in. You now can readily see 2 10mm bolts I believe, and 2 more are tucked further up near the top of the radio and will need an extention to reach. Once those 4 bolts are removed the radio slides out. Now, you probably have aceess to the bolts and screws holding in the navgition (In my case informantion center and AC controls) unit. I still suggest the manual but I haven't gotten around to getting mine yet.
