Because my new RX330 (2005) sucks, I'd like to remove the center console. I can't believe a $40k car can't play MP3's, doesn't have an input jack for external MP3 players (like an iPod), doesn't have a power jack inside the center console, and requires me to take the car to the dealer to change personality features. Boy what a sucker I was to buy this POS.

Anyway, enough ranting. Anyone know how to properly remove the center console (the one between the front seats that moves)? I figure if I can get it apart, I can install power taps inside it for an iPod. Can't believe there is only one power jack on the floorboard. There ought to be more, so if I can get that plastic up, I'll tap and install more.

Don't even get me going on the rain-sensing wiper. The engineer for that should be demoted to garage sweeper. Sigh. $40k doesn't buy you anything decent these days.
