RX330 & RX400H inquiry - new here.
Hello all,
I am in the process of buying my 3rd car. I put down a depoist on a brand new RX400h. Anyways I was wondering if anyone here had a picture of the Flint Mica colored RX330 so that I can have an idea of what it looks like. I looked through the gallery and didn't see any Flint Mica colored ones. My 2nd choice was the break water blue but it doesn't sound like they are releasing any of them. I am 19 years old and want a good color. My previous to rides have been black and I love black but its to hard to maintain. So I want a dark color, but not black or a lighter color. Thanks for all of your feedback.

Pictures don't really do the Flint Mica or the Breakwater Blue colors justice.
Both colors appear to change quite a bit based on the amount of ambient lighting.
As you would expect, they get lighter in bright sunlight. The Breakwater Blue becomes a fairly light blue in the sun, so based on your post, it may be a little light for your taste. It's a nice color, though.
The Flint Mica also has little colored flecks in it that become evident in bright light, and it becomes a uniform darker color in lower light.
Don't worry about future paint-matching of either color. I've got Flint Mica, and I had to have both bumpers replaced and repainted after an accident. The color matched perfectly, even the effect of the colored flecks.
One more thing I'll add... Flint Mica isn't a whole lot better than Black when it comes to hiding dirt and little scratches. It still needs to be washed often to look good. I think the best color for low-maintenance is Gold.

If you like darker colors maybe try the Neptune Blue Mica. I don't know if the 400H will be offered in that color but at night the Flint and the Neptune Blue look the same until your under some light. I almost got the Flint but after seeing so many I changed to the Neptune and I really like it. It is a dark blue a lot darker than the Breakwater Blue that color seems a little pastel to me. If you give me your email I can send you pics of my Neptune the files are to big to put on here....
