Hi.
Only got the car this week and looking to get it on the road in good order so have a couple of questions.

First is regarding the head unit with the Nav Screen.
it seems to be cycling between telling me to install the correct Nav DVD/telephone dial pad/can't connect with Bluetooth.
The heating seems to be working of sorts, but the demisting is poor and only clearing the bottom of the windscreen even when set to Hi and the engine is at temperature.

The steering controls aren't working- including the controls for the radio, not sure if this is related in anyway, but the ML stereo is now working fine after a fuse (29) change (30 amp). The latter was showing all was okay with the buttons/lights/volume operating as they should which indicated the amp/fuse was the issue there.

I was looking at pulling out the centre console and swapping for an ebay part (Nav head unit) pulled from a hybrid model - mine is petrol only. Wasn't sure if there was any software that might be stored on the unit as I know it has a host of other tricks like maintenance checks, etc, but I guess this is pulled from various ECU'S under the hood. It'd save on Labour costs at the garage if this is possible and I know I can do this easy enough. Hoping there's someone on the forum who might be able to advise.

The other issue is the rear wiper motor is fritzed. Having seen a dodgy one on the bay, it seems rainwater can seep along the shift and jam the mech. Anyone disassembled one to see if they can be repaired? That's on the to do list too.
