Recently, my front passenger window stopped working using the master switch. I replaced the master switch, and the passenger window would go down about 3 inches and stop. Won’t go back up using the master switch. Worked fine using the pass side switch

I did the reprogram on the window. Full function on the passenger side control. Nothing now on the master switch.

Any suggestions?

perhaps disconnect the battery and reprogram all windows?

 

Double check the connections, possibly clean them. Next would to see if its getting power for that window switch.

 

Try this. I've never done the procedure singling out one window. If all windows worked but one, all of the windows were redone starting with the driver window and working around to the passenger front. Haven't had one recurring issue on the handful I've done. I guess since that process always worked, I never thought to try just one window..

Did you get an OEM window switch?

 

are the symptoms now identical to before you replaced the master switch?
