My RX330 has Mark Levinson stereo and the radio used to display the station name and song name with singer name that it's playing. But it stops displaying other information except the station name. I read the manual and it doesn't show me how to turn the text message receive on or off. If anyone know what's the problem with my radio? Please show me how to turn the text message receiving back on, I'll be very appreciated it.

Each station displays different information. One where I live only displays the station name and the station slogan. Another station properly displays the song artist and title.

You can cycle through the displayed text with the text button.

There's nothing wrong with your stereo. I suspect it's the radio stations themselves.

That's just my two cents worth.

i dont have the mark levinson stereo package, but mine also displays certain messages (song, title, or station names) on certain stations. it varies depending on the station. its not your system and you cant control it. i guess just some radio stations are just more advanced than others, and others havent caught up yet.

Thanks dms666 and VAGASRX330 for replying my post. I live in Southern California and 103.5 FM used to display more than just the station name and number. I scan through all stations, but now none of them dispay other information than the station name and numbers. I used to be able to see the artist name and other things. Not anymore and it has been like this for a while now.

Do you have that Nav / Mark Levinson package? I am thinking of getting RX330. Do you mind how much did you pay for your Lex? I live in Northern California. BTW, have you ever compare the sound quality in RX330 with and without Mark Levinson? Thanks.

Yes I have the Nav / Mark Levinson package. I paid $41499.00 before tax and license. I bought the car in May 2003; I have over 7000 miles and I still love the car. It drives beatifully and everything works perfectly except the rear hatch back; it doesn't work sometime; other than that it's an execllent car and I have no regret. I have never compare the sound quality in RX330 with and without Mark Levinson, so I don't know, but my Mark Levinson stereo sounds so good. It must be one of the best. And it has been raining lately and the rain sensor works beatifully. I now like this option a lot too. Overall, it's an exellent car and I still love it so much.
