Hi everyone,

Just bought my first RX400H about a week ago and so far I love it! I've done a couple of jobs on it such as fixing the rear electric boot and (hopefully) sealing the roof rail mountings/ welds. I'll make posts on fixing the boot in a min incase it helps others out.

The next job on my agenda is the automatic wipers. I didn't notice this when I bought the car but what seems to be the sensor for the automatic wipers is missing. (See attached image). When the wipers are set to automatic they seem to work as if they were on intermittent, so my question is Is removing this sensor a common thing to do?

Is there a reason it would be removed and would buying another sensor and fitting it give me back automatic wipers. I can't see the plug but am hoping it's somewhere hidden in the headliner.
