Tire Recommendations
I know there are several threads already on this, but was looking to buy new tires for my 2005 Lexus Rx 330. Been researching everything from budget tires to the most expensive. Anybody have any recommendations as of today, on what I should get, both budget tires and higher end? I've been looking up on Tire Rack. However, I'm not sure any reviews on the site are reputable. I've also been looking into the Vredestein Quatro Pro+ or the HiTrac. The reviews seem postive, but still curious. Anybody know anything about them? I'm in KY, so looking more into all-season and trying to find something with good tread wear too.

One downside to Contis is they now come with paper-thin sidewalls. This is widely commented on. I did not know that and got a set a few years ago (c.2021). I popped two tires within 1,500 miles, one a minor pothole at low speed that should not have popped the tire, the 2nd a curbing stone lightly brushed at very low speed in my driveway. After the 2nd one I checked online review more thoroughly and discovered this was common. Conti; never again.
OP - two “budget” options that can save money and deliver higher performance than you think are Cooper (US) and Hankook (KR). Both make excellent tires but are not high priced. In fact, both even have an in-house “budget” brand, Mastercraft/Dean (for Cooper) and Laufenn (for Hankook). I have five complete sets of Cooper/Hankook tires - all season, off-road, and snow - on various of my vehicles and like them all.

Thanks for the replies. Looked into the Cooper Endeavor Plus, but was a little hesitant since there were several reviews of them picking up nails pretty easily. Ended up getting the Yokohama Geolandar CV G058. We’ll see how these work.

We just put on the Michelin Aegis Crossclimates and they're surprisingly quiet compared with the OEMs. More expensive, but we expect them to last a good long time. I see you made a pick already, but for any future lookers that also want a quiet ride, that's what I'd go with.
They seem to be doing alright so far. Seems to be a a smooth ride, but have had my car in the shop for a few things recently so haven’t drove on them enough to know how they stand up. After looking around, it seemed Walmart had the best deal on them. They were about $900 after taxes and everything and if you’re a Walmart plus member, you don’t have to pay for the tire rotations and repair and everything it includes. Hope that helps. I’ll update after driving on them longer.
