I mean, there are lot of gs nad rx400h for sale, i think people are just getting rid of them 15yo+ hybrids because battery is weak and dont want to spend big bux on new battery am i right? Should you avoid today 200-300k km 2005-2008 hybrid?

 

I don't know much about the hybrid battery longevity but for me, condition of the car is everything.

How's the paint and finish?
How's the interior condition
Is it rusty?
Does it need tires?

if the price is right. RX400h can be a good deal. Just like @Margate330 says the general condition is the top factor in any used cars.
The batteries.. IF it does go bad, it could be few cells and fixed at $300-$500.. the whole battery pack doesn't need to be replaced, unless you want to at $2500.

I see people going over 300k,400k+ on original batteries, so I'm not worried too much about them.

The trade-in values of those ~200k hybrids are $1k-$2.5k.. so keep that in mind..
