But, I have an update on this! On my own RX, I had Bank 1 Sensor 1 go out. I used the same DENSO 2349049 A/F ratio sensor (This is a front sensor - 40 dollars cheaper than rear bank) and it fit the back and no more CEL! Only diff is an extra 5" of wire! No big deal, it'll make removing it next time easier if it ever fails, as it's easier to snake over the cat. Either the original text on the body of the sensor burned off or it was was a no-name cheapo sensor in there so I'm not surprised it failed. The rest of the 02 and A/F sensors on the car are likely original Denso made in Japan, pretty impressive for 235k miles.
No need to jack the car up, remove the wheels or remove the intake box to get to the connector like what some people do. Just put it on ramps, use a flexhead ratchet (I used a Gearwrench 120xp 3/8" with this same compact 02 sensor tool as shown), snake it in through where the driveshaft and y-pipe are near, and popeye it 'till it breaks loose. You won't be able to get a torch in there, but these sensors don't get exposed to a lot of crud so they shouldn't be that stuck. Once you take the sensor out, snake it around the cat on the driver side so you have a sensor and wire you can yank on, then slip in a long flat screwdriver to release the tab on the connector, yank the hanging 02 and POP, it'll come out easily. I did have to pop the 4-pin connector off its plastic mount, and all work was done underneath the car in about 45 mins of taking my time
He has a similar ratchet and tool to the ones I used
Access point
For 2011-2020 Sienna but the process is nearly the same
