Tpms warning flashing after sensor replacement
I recently got my tpms sensors replaced from tyre shop and tpms light is still flashing even after the tyre guy programmed it. What should I do? Thanks guys
I wouldn't have left. Did he check them to figure out which one waa bad or just replaced all of them? Don't forget about the spare & did he check the air pressure?
Make sure the main/2nd tpms switch is in the correct position if it has one. A lot of shops don’t get the light to turn off before you leave and say just drive it. That doesn’t always work. Go back and have them reprogram the ECU and without turning the car off rescan each sensor so that they send a confirmation signal to the ECU. They may also need to clear any DTC codes after that if the light stays on. If all that doesn’t work you may also need to drive it.
