New Maf...wow!

New Maf...wow!
Hey folks, hope you are all well? Was worried before about fuel trim readings and A/F readings...and decided to change out the maf. I wasn't getting and codes at all, but seeing as it was the original one and at 14 years of ago and 240k km.., i thought it can use s refresh. Am i happy i did it.
at the same time as the maf, i also cleaned out throttle body and did a battery pull(also cleaned battery terminals).
Upon starting the car, the idle was a bit high (this is normal), and eventually settled down. I noticed right away that the engine seemed more "quiet ", not as Buzzy as before. The gears seemed to "hold" into gear a little longer. Everything, including idle seemed to run a bit smoother.
normally, in mixed city driving, i'd get about 520-530 km on a tank. Today i filled up, the gas light hadn't come on yet and i was at about 550km.
will keep you posted on how it goes.
