Brake light on

I am looking at a 2007 with 94k and the brake light is on. Pads look like they are due and brake fluid at minimum mark. What are common issues that would make the brake light come on?

Reads like the brake light switch, down by the brake pedal........

Plus one on the Brake Light SW, replace it, not hard to do, see if it resolves it.
