Shift Improver Kit
Previous owner was meticulous about maintenance but with 180 k mi. on the clock I think the soft shifts could be because of the known internal wear issues of the transmission
Looking to see what type of realistic results gained and if there were any related install issues anyone has worked on

Here's a great post about it. This whole thread by Teksmrt is a feat in itself. He has had the kit for 3+ years and is pleased with it. Lots of good info here about the U151 transmission, 2GR-FE engine and more

Thanks for the info MattRX. I followed up the thread where OP talks about and physically shows the arrangement he used to stack washers in the accumulators to firm up the shifts to the best as well as TB, wheel & tire and suspension mods.
If we lived closer I'd buy you and him a drink.
