Default MZOrange Tail Lights

Has anyone tried out the MZOrange Tail Lights?

They look like the Spyder tail lights that were aftermarket on these. They seem really expensive for Chinese tail lights. I would double-check to make sure they are properly sealed with butyl rubber if you do decide to go with them.

You're right!

Spyder appears only to make it only in the clear/black lens, and there is no sequential turn signal like the ones above.

Wow & not even LED's.....Add rx400h tail light assemblies as that'd get you the oem style w/ LED's...

Agreed. If these do not work out, I'll be looking for a set of RX400h tail lights.

I do want to add that I have heard of people complaining of the Spyder lights leaking, if these lights are any similar (They appear to be basically the same MFR under a different name) I would reseal them in the oven with RV-grade butyl tape before installation. Another problem is if one of them gets damaged in an accident, you're stuck with buying another whole pair of four. Either that, or find a reputable person selling them who won't give you the runaround, and will honour their warranty without a fight if one is defective.

Noted. Thank you for the advice and insight. I paid 260.00 for the red lenses. Looked sort of OE, and not too aftermarket. Not cheap, but not super expensive. Trying to NOT blend in with all the other white RX's around here. Never noticed how many 2nd gen RX's there are till I got one.

One thing I do wish was that we could get red lenses outside of Japan. Too bad they're basically unobtainable there let alone here!

Agreed. Clear lenses look clean on a white car... Till everybody else has them! Making small changes to stand out from the crowd. The red lenses should make my RX look a little more updated.

These were not plug-and-play. Had to trim a tab on each outer light that did not align with the body of the car, and splice in the inner lights since the supplied connections didn't fit anything I had. I transferred the factory light rubber gaskets to the new ones. Drove in the rain, and no leaks. I am happy with the brightness of the LED's. Some of these aftermarket lights in general have dim turn signal/brake lights, these are fairly bright and acceptable. I added LED bulbs for the reverse light to complete the look I was going for. Did a quick video, and will take better ones later.

Nice, pretty cool! Glad they work great. Do you have any lights on the dash for burned out lights? The RX400h tail lights don’t have built-in resistors so the car will think the bulbs are burned.

I was surprised - 0 warning lights. A little bummed the crimestopper remote start/long-range keyless entry I put in this past weekend only flashes the parking lights for lock and unlock, and not the turn signals (I really like the dynamic signals on the lights) but there is only so much you can do with the aftermarket add on. I checked the seals on the lights, and they looked fine. Using the factory light gaskets is key. The ones that came with are not up to par with the OE stuff. I'll keep an eye on things. More pics and videos to come. I'll keep this post updated if I run into any issues.

I had 1 tire sensor go out. Took the car in to get it replaced. I'm digging the look of the lights.
