Please NEED HELP PLEASE tranny but got code p0500

Tried posting yesterday to find out about sensor A after we was on Frwy and car broke down out of blue. We ended up getting towed home and got po500 codes . Replaced and tested sensors. But our car still will not move! It sounds like transmission but NOT GETTING ANY CODES FOR IT. IT WONT ENGAGE AFTER PUTTING IN GEAR. WE ARE DUMFOUNDED AND CANNOT AFFORD TO REPLACE TRANNY AS HEALTH IS TERRIBLE N ITS ONLY TRANSPO. I DID A VIDEO HAVING TROUBLE DOWNLODING THO. I WILL KERP TRYING Please IF ANYONE CAN GIVE ME SONE IDEAS. WE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES OR PROBLEMS WITH OUR LEXUS. JUST FINISHED USING CRUISE CONTROL BEFORE BROKE DOWN AND WE HAD NOT USED IT IN MANY YEARS SO COULD THAT CAUSE SOMETHING? PLEASE IF U COULD HELP GREATLY GREATLY APPRECIATED!
I'm going to post n try n add attachment later I've already had to rewrite this 3x cuz lost few times.
