Default CV Axle Boots

So, my mechanic who is doing the engine installation with my 2000 RX300 told me that I needed 2 cv axle boots. I have looked for some on the "Zon" and found some that says, fits my vehicle then says not for Trilobal cv joints, anyone have any idea what that means, and are the inner and outer boots the same? Thanks for any help answering my question. Getting closer to having the Lexus back on the road!!!

one will be for AWD and one is for front wheel drive. that is the difference. I would go ahead and replace the entire CV, if you are keeping the vehicle, and not just the boot.

That's what I did since mine were high mileage and shot anyway.
Not expensive on Rockauto and they came shipped pretty fast.

Thanks for the replies. Ended up replacing with new axle on driver's side and he rebuilt the passenger side.
