Hey guys,

My Lexus dealer replaced the center trim that houses the radio/ac LCD panel due to premature wearing of the vinyl. I appreciate the fact that they covered it under warranty. However, I think they replaced it with the wrong part. The outer a/c vents on my Coach edition has a chrome accent strip on the **** that controls the positioning of the vents. The new center trim's a/c vents do not have this chrome accent strip. Just a bare plastic ****. I'm 95% sure that the original central a/c vents had the chrome accent.

Could one of you with a Coach Edition verify that the the center a/c vents have that chrome accent strip on the ****? I would appreciate it. As soon as I verify it, I am going back to the dealer to let them know they installed the wrong part. My part is probably a special order but I'm willing to wait.

what year is your RX.... bc i had a 99 and they didnt have the chrome accent on the vents. now i have an 02 and they do have the chrome on the vents. I believe it just has to deal with the years and not coach or silver sport edition etc. anyway go back there and tell them you want what you originally had. thats bull!

MIne is a 2002. I checked the gallery and I found a newer RX and it had the chrome accents. I am going back there to tell them they installed the wrong part. I agree that it is BS.
