Default Towing 4 Wheels Down

Apparently the 1999 RX300 owners manual had the procedure that had to be followed to tow the RX300 4 wheels down. Would one of you 1999 owners be so kind as to post those instructions.

If I recall properly, the '99 AWD RX300 CANNOT be towed with any wheels on the ground: towed on a trailler, or if the front end is suspended, the rear end has to be on a dolly.

I will confirm later.

my undersanding of towing proceedures (without referencing the manual).

fwd rx can be towed with rear wheels on ground, but:

awd rx MUST be towed all wheels up (none on ground) due to potential damage to awd system.

Better safe than sorry, I say.

Tell tow truck operator to add dolly to rear wheels so complete vehicle is suspended... Unless he wants to have a liability claim.

BTW your rx should never have to be towed???!!!! That is, unless you run out of gas.

My $.02
Cheers,

Fern
