Default ABS light wont turn off and firing zero codes

Has anyone had an ABS light that would not go off? It's not throwing any code and the repair shop has no ideal on what is causing the ABS light to stay on.
I've replaced the rear wheel bearings and the driver side rear axle which had a broken ABS ring and it still stays on. I've also replaced the ABS module and still nothing.
I found a guy online that said others had the same and they showed a video using a jump wire under the hood and removing a few fuses while pumping the brake 8 times which would remove the light.

Has anyone else tried this?
