Just bought a 2002 with 54k on it. Besides a couple small scratches and a nickel size rust bubble on the rear wheelwell it's immaculate. Had my first alarm issue and read a thread about resetting the immobilizer and it worked. Also a thread on the wiring for a trailer light plug in. Just replaced the original tires with all terrains. Will be fabricating brushgaurds and a roofrack next. So much information on this site, thanks.
Nice catch - I just got one in similar paint scheme with 95K on the clock.
Will be following along. You might want to add 3~5mm hub-centric spacers (60.1mm) so your All Terrains will clear the rear struts. Some more aggressive tires will rub the inside against the strut.
On one vehicle I looked at last week, you'd be lucky to get a piece of box cardboard between the tire and the strut and that is w/o the AT blocky tread ...
Mine has Firestone Destination P225/70R16, and the casing is about 1/4" from the strut spring basket and the strut tube, so OK for non-snow (no chain) driving

I just got a 2nd RX300 2000, this time I found an AWD one. I have been looking everywhere for a front guard. Please post some pics of the one you make it. I did replace 90% of the lights with LED and the white light looks so much more up to date. Doors, visors, over head x3, blue LED in key ring (replaced green), blue led shiftier bulb. I also added a aux port replacing the cd changer, along with a
with a piece of wood burnt black and zipped tied. It's then place in the tape deck, the 8in tablet pulled out a little covers the radio but I can see lower row of ac/heat control and on the top I can see the displayed ac/heat settings, perfect. I will post some pics. It sounds amazing, just the bass punch for GREAT sound. It's not a pair of 15's but it will rattle the SUV on the inside and a little on the out. Your rear views will vibrate a little, but you don't see the sub !
Yeah ur right prob not practical or possible but I keep telling my wife I'm gonna "Man Up" the car with a winch bumper like this so it doesn't look so wimpy just to watch her squirm. lol
Thing about a winch isn't did I use it. It's would I drive through that without a back up plan. The only front guard I could see all the pieces of (used for sell, long ago AD) the brackets that hold the front on are 2-3 foot long underneath.
Took it off the pavement yesterday on the forestry roads at land between the lakes here in western Ky. Nothing extreme, just dirt, gravel and a few creek crossings.
Looks just like my new ride Very nice to see one in "in the wild"
I'll be off-roading mine soon as I get it sorted and the Posi installed. Similar situations until I get down to the SoCal deserts. Prolly post pics then
