Default XM Radio

Hey,

I put xm radio in mine, less than a month after I bought the RX last year. I bought the unit that uses an FM modulator unit like some of the multi disk, cd changers use. But I have heard they aren't making those any more, mostly because most new vehicles and audio decks come with satellite controls built in.
Over all pretty good. I have heard that XM still carries more commercial free stuff than Sirius ( who claims they have more commercial free).
The only thing is that the unit I bought when bad after about 14 months. Luckily I bought the 5 year extended warranty so everything is being repair/replaced, including labor.
So many more stations to flip through. Like many things, stations (especially radio) they don't give you everything someone like all the time so there is still channel flipping for some of us. But with channels that offer music and programs you can't hear with regular radio including uncensored material it is nice package. And averages about $400 installed as long as you shop around.
And don't go to places like :best buy, circuit city or the good guys, with out knowing what you want and make sure they know how to install it in a Luxury vehicle, cause if they don't it isn't a risk you should take, I didn't, I used a local shop that assured me they knew how and where to mount all the hardware with out consulting 5 or six installers if they knew how to do it.

If you have more question or if I possibly left something out just holla back.
