Default Anyone using a backup device?

Has anyone installed a backup device? (You know, the little camera/sensor so you don't run over something?) I've looked into a couple but either 1)they don't have any dealer/installers in Hawaii 2)it's attached to the license plate and my license plate gets hit by ***** during recess and I'm afraid it will break or 3)they're little black circles that you can see in your bumper, which I don't think is very attractive.

Thanks.

Linda

I got mine from the dealer for free but another company installed them. They're aftermarket. The sensors are hidden inside the bumper so you don't see any dots or anything. There are little sensors inside the trunk near the right glass that light up when you back up. They work great for parking but they can't seem to work properly when I'm just backing up normally and nothing's in sight. They always reach the steady beep where something's extremely close. It's quite annoying and the guy already tried fixing it and it still does that, but at least it works when parking. Just have to deal with it now.

Now if you trade your 300 in for an RX330 with nav, you'll have a factory installed backup system. There is a camera view when backing up on the LCD screen. Works great.
