Ty so much for that, but mine isn't the 86110-48030...it is 86110-48070. The lexus dealership told me this morning that my VIN shows my car should have the one you sent, but it surely does not. And I can NOT find the latter part ANY where except overseas. I am becoming desperate at this stage.

Not sure if this is a legit company and it's pricey: http://www.vendio.com/stores/lexmani...-/lid=12000134

That same name has a highly rated ebay store with over 11,000 ratings at 99.9% that also shares the same phone number, so it looks legit.

I don't think 84010-48040-E0 is what you are looking for. This page says that part is the "center bezel", which to me means the plastic face.
https://www.mylparts.com/oem-parts/l...l-8401048040e0

Further down on that page there is the "display unit" https://www.mylparts.com/oem-parts/l...148030/?c=bT0x

You say "the screen is lighting up but nothing works". Without a diagnostic it's hard to know where the problem is

Yes. I just got my car out of the shop this afternoon, and the shop manager quoted me the Part # and Name of the part. It is the Center Cluster Integration Panel, and I found one for $1190 and change brand new OEM, but am not able to find a used one. Looks like I'm having to with the new. Thank you, tho.

Dealer may be quoting the entire center panel, not just the part you need. Are you absolutely sure the display is the part you need? How did you diagnose the problem?

As far as the display part numbers are concerned, Toyota updates part numbers on a regular basis for internal record keeping purposes (eg a different supplier or manufacturer of the same part).

The shop I took it to today told me specifically it was the Center Cluster Integration Panel with that exact part #. Yes. It is a reputable shop with a pretty high rating actually. I was floored, but I figure they must be right. as I have already purchased the Multi Display Unit, and once connected it did the same thing as the original. Lit up on trip information, but no data input to it, nor any allowing of climate control or radio. He said they did an hour of testing...wiring etc....and they were 99% sure this was the issue. Makes sense, which makes me sick.

I found this video:

Where someone commented:

I have a 2002 Lexus RX300 like yours and the Center Cluster intergration panel went bad. I have Navigation as well. The part # 8001048040E0 with GPS Navigation. Basically you have to replace the entire front part because it controls the radio, navigation, A/C and heater/ Climate control. FYI different colors of your dash can cost more too. Also the price is more with Navigation. Anyway. Your video is very useful for anybody having the same issue as my car or for many other issues. If your radio, A/C, heater or GPS Navigation either stops working or gets stuck turned on or off. Most likely it's your Center Cluster Intergration panel- which basically is the circuit board behind this part you took off. The Diagnostic code is B1277. I hope if anybody else has this issue my info helps you. It is rare they go out, but they can. Also call around if you can not do it yourself. Because I researched how much the Center Cluster Intergration Panel cost and there were major price differences. The best price I found for a brand new one is $1470.00. And it's under warranty for 1 year. But if you buy a after market or used on eBay they run about $125.00 with GPS Navigation. The entire job should not take more than 1-1/2 to 2 hours. If your mechanic knows what they are doing. Thanks again for your video. I like to see how things are done.

Searching for RX300 and B1277 you can find this diagnostic guide with a diagnostic on page DI-725
https://www.souz-96.com/bio/Lexus/RX...agnostics2.pdf

It basically says check the wiring and if that's good replace the panel. I'd definitely be looking for a used one though.
