P1153 Code on 1999 RX300

P0125 typically shows with any A/F sensor failure. You will soon get the A/F sensor code too. You have not corrected your original problem. You can continue getting great deals on eBay until you get tired of replacing the sensor. Then you can buy a genuine Denso and move on to other challenges.

You are right Artbuc. I took out the new sensor showing the P0125 code and reinstalled the sensor showing the P1153 code. (I received refund but seller did not request i return it.) After driving about 40 minutes CEL light came back on. The error code was was P1153. There was no P0125 code. This tells me that both sensors are bad. I am returning the $42 sensor bought on Ebay showing the code P0125. I have ordered a new sensor (234-9009) direct from Denso. $146 with USPS priority shipping.

Based on the back info reported this car may have been bought, fixed, and "flipped".

Like posted above, I'd do the hack and see if codes stay clear and then if it does, redo the work that was previously done with OEM parts.
