Default CEL monitor codes

Nothing like stressing out about everything that needs to get done in the next couple days when suddenly the CEL pops on.

The code reader shows P0128 so I will check (& probably replace) the coolant thermostat as suggested in other threads. But it also shows P0128pd and MIL ON with 0 incomplete monitors and 7 ready (Misfire, Fuel, Comp, Catlyst, Evap, 02 Snsr, and O2 Htr) - so I am wondering how much I need to be concerned about the monitors?

FWIW I just recently replaced the rear valve cover and solved a longstanding high speed oil consumption issue, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if the emissions are a bit jacked up. Can't really afford to throw a bunch of money at the car just now though so I want to be sure whether I actually have a problem first.

Thanks!
Owen

Do not worry about the monitors. About a decade ago I went with a low-temp TRD Thermostat, 170 degree combined with a Tom's High Pressure Radiator Cap. I also with coolant throw a bottle of water wetter in there.
